    Description

    The 10 Philippine piso banknote was part of the family of banknotes issued by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (Central Bank of the Philippines) from 1995 to 2013. This family of banknotes included the revised bank seal which consisted of the Bangko Sentrals name and year of the New Central Bank Act encircling a large cog that encompassed a sun rising above a mountain range and the triangle with the three stars and the sun from the Philippine flag. The obverse side includes two revolutionary leaders: Apolinario Mabini and Andres Bonifacio, the Bangko Sentral seal, the Katipunan flag, the Kartilya ng Katipunan, and an excerpt of Mabinis El Verdadero Decalogo. The reverse side features a depiction of the Katipunans blood pact and the Barasoain Church in Malolos City, Bulacan. The note has a segmented solid security thread. It has two watermarks: Mabini and Bonifacio. The note is 160 mm long and 66 mm wide.
