    ca1927 Souvenir 8" Bust of Aviator Charles Lindbergh Titled "Our Lindy"
    This bust was never made to be a work of art. It was made as a souvenir to cash in on his historic solo crossing of the Atlantic. It was made from inexpensive steel and painted with metallic paint to appear bronze. Some of that has rubbed off. Also, they made no effort to hide the mold seams. It's mass market souvenir status makes it all the more interesting. It's really a relic of it's times!
