Description

A bit of an odd caption/attribution on this old snapshot.  It's obviously a Ford-Trimotor of Mohawk Airlines, named Miss Albany.  The old caption on the back states, "Chas. Lindbergh's Plane at Hartness Airport.  Sprf. VT."  Then in a different ink, "years ago Mayo. Marian & A.J. went over to see Chas. & plane.  I didn't."  Now, Lindbergh did visit Hartness Airport on July 26, 1927, a few months after his historic flight, but did it in his Spirit of St. Louis.  Perhaps the Ford Tri-motor accompanied, but it's not his plane.  All the same, nice old image of the Ford, props whirring.
