    Description

    This is a January 1, 1862 Civil War rations document that is a "Statement of Capital Funds" of the 13th New York Cavalry from October 20, 1861 to January 1, 1862.  It contains 360 provisions including 143 lbs. of fresh beef, 335 loaves of bread, etc.  Signed by David Little, surgeon.  Overall very good condition. .
